I am a mother, a working professional and also the wo’man’ around the house. I juggle my child’s needs, the demands of office and the regular household chores as best as I can. It isn’t easy, but with the right kind of planning and by using all the help I can get, life can be quite smooth.
One of the things I do, is take advantage of all appliances, tools, gizmos and life hacks that come my way. I don’t go looking for them, but if I read about something that could help me with my chores at home, I check them out. I bought an Electric Pressure Washer years back, and I am really happy about my decision. Electric Pressure Washers for women are a fantastic help.
When I was buying it, some friends said that I would find it difficult to use it. Now after using it for several years I know that all that is absolute bull. I can pressure wash better than anyone else, and it saves me a huge amount of time and effort.
I chose an electric pressure washer with wheels, a built in detergent can, long power cable and adjustable nozzle. I knew right from the beginning that I wasn’t going to be doing any heavy duty cleaning. The electric power washer was the best choice. It is low on maintenance, can be stored indoors, is noiseless and can easily do everything that I need it to.
I looked around and took the advice of a few friends and finally purchased a Karcher. I have to confess that the first time I pulled the trigger to pressure wash, it got me off balance. It took me a while to figure out how best to use my Karcher, but once I did, it was fantastic.
My one piece of advice to all you ladies who are about to pick one up and use it is to read the safety instructions carefully and take all possible precautions. Don’t ever forget that a pressure washer can break through metal if the nozzle is close enough. You can imagine what it can do to flesh and bone.
Here’s my check-list of dos and don’ts that I religiously follow when I pressure wash with my Karcher. I would strongly suggest that you do the same, and carefully follow this Electric Pressure Washers for Women guide.
Before I switch on the electric pressure washer.Make sure you have connected everything properlyCheck all the parts that have to be plugged in, screwed on or connectedCheck that the faucet which is your water source has running water and is not blockedBy pulling the trigger with the motor off, let the water run through the machine for minute or so
While I am pressure washing.Wear protective gogglesWear glovesPressure wash from four feet and then come closer as per the cleaning force requiredWear boots
Child-proof pressure washing.Make sure your child cannot come near the work areaIdeally let another adult take care of the child while you pressure washIf your child comes near the work area, turn off the pressure washer before doing anything elseNever do pressure washing while your child is anywhere close
Storing the pressure washer.Ensure that the power cord is not still connected to the plugKeep the pressure washer in a place that children cannot accessIf possible lock your store room or storage cabinet where you store the pressure washer
So, my fellow pressure washers or would-be pressure washers, my advice is to just do it, and do it like a pro. If you want to look at a few Electric Pressure Washer models that I think are good value for money, have a look at these four:
